NEW ADVANCED ​PERFORMANCE TRACK
​OUR ALL-INCLUSIVE PROGRAM BUILDS WELL ROUNDED STRONG PERFORMERS! 
FOR STUDENTS AGES 10+/LEVEL 2+ 
​(EVALUATIONS AVAILABLE FOR NON OTF MEMBERS) 
THIS ADVANCE PERFORMANCE TRACK IS DESIGNED FOR THE OLDER, ADVANCED STUDENT WHO IS ABLE TO ATTEND 2 OR MORE SESSIONS THIS SUMMER AND WANTS TO IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCE ABILITIES AND TRAIN PROGRESSIVE SKILLS CULMINATING IN A FINAL SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE AT THE END OF THE SUMMER.
PARTICIPATION IN FINAL PERFORMANCE IS NOT REQUIRED AS THEY WILL GET TO PERFORM IN WEEKLY OPEN HOUSES.
ADV PERFORMANCE TRACK IS OFFERED DURING ALL REGULARLY SCHEDULED SESSIONS BUT HELD FROM 1 - 4:30 PM PROVIDING MORE TIME ON THE APPARATUS/HARNESS AND REHEARSALS.
THIS ADJUSTED TIME ALSO ALLOWS OUR ADVANCED CAMPERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK ALONGSIDE OUR COACHES AS SHADOWS OR ASSISTANTS  (PENDING AGE/EXPERIENCE) IN THE AM & ENJOY CAMP AS CAMPERS IN THE PM.
ADV PERFORMANCE TRACK IS ALSO A GREAT PREPARATION FOR ELITE AUDITIONS.
FINAL WEEK (6TH SESSION) IS A FULL 5 DAY WEEK WITH A SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE ON FRI, AUG 2ND.

*DESPITE THE EXTRA TIME, PRICING IS THE SAME AS STUDENTS WILL ASSIST WITH STRIKE/EQUIPMENT THE FINAL 30 MIN.

ADV TRACK REQUIREMENTS: Adv Track students must attend ONE FULL Session of camp and are then invited to to enroll and attend any single day or days as a "Drop In" Clinic rate of $40/day. Sign up through their Dance Studio Pro account* under ADVANCED TRACK CLINIC (SUMMER 2024).

PARTICIPATION IN FINAL PERFORMANCE IS NOT REQUIRED AS THEY WILL GET TO PERFORM IN WEEKLY OPEN HOUSES at the end of each Session! Adv Track Campers are also welcome to enroll in any full week Adv Track Session so they may continue to train and work towards their final performance, Friday, August 2nd. (Although strongly recommended, it is not required for campers to participate in the final showcase for admittance in the Adv Track.)

ADVANCED TRACK SUMMER CLINICS

ON THE FLY AERIAL FLY TEAMS​
All team levels are by instructor placement

LEVEL 1 TEAM -
THE FIREFLIES
A fun progressive team building class builds strength and focuses on performance routines on all apparatus such as silks, lyra, trapeze as well as dance, acro, flying ground circus, team building fun and more! 
Pre-Req: Students can successfully put on a single figure 8 foot lock (silks together and apart) and a double figure 8 foot lock (one on each foot).  They can classic (basic) climb on both sides at least three climbs up and straddle invert in a knot.  Lastly, students can hold a bent arm hang for 5-10 seconds on the left side, right side on lyra or trapeze, and with split fabrics. ​

Level 3 & 4 Teams -
The BUTTERFLIES 
This advanced team works on our most advanced skills such as inversions, drops, various climbs and provides more rigorous strength and conditioning, Pre-Req: Students meet all the prerequisites for Level 3 or 4.  In addition, students can straddle invert with straight legs and good form in the air.  Students can get into and out of an s-wrap (switch hook entrance), opposite catcher’s wrap (opposite side hook, tail around back and around the free leg), and cross-back straddle.  Students can demonstrate two other climbs besides classic and Russian on both sides and an Apollo down descent with control.  Students can string multiple tricks and/or sequences together to stay in the air for approximately one minute without returning to the ground.  Lastly, students can hold both a bent arm hang and straight arm hang for at least 10 seconds on the left side and right side on lyra or trapeze and with split fabric. ​

Level 2 Team -
​THE DRAGONFLIES 
This intermediate level & progressive skill building team challenges students with more advanced technique and skill training on multiple apparatus such as trapeze, lyra, silks, and FLYing as well and focusing on building strength and performance skills on the ground and in the air! Pre-Req: Students meet all the prerequisites for Level 2 Team.  In addition, students can successfully put on a single figure 8 foot lock in the air as well as aerial dance foot locks (aka stirrups or egg beaters).  Students can straddle invert from the floor with straight legs and good form.  Students can get into and out of a leg lock (same side hook), hip key (opposite side hook), and catcher’s wrap (same side hook, tail around the back and around the free leg).  Students are able to double crochet, double crucifix, and tip up with control (aka bat).  They can demonstrate both classic and Russian climbs on both sides with a controlled angel down descent.  Lastly, students can hold a bent arm hang for at least 10 seconds on the left side, ride side on lyra or trapeze, and with split fabrics.

PRE-PROFESSIONAL ELITE FLY TEAM
​(By audition)
Annual auditions are open to all performers who have in Level 2 (6 months or more) & up. Weekly Elite rehearsals take performers to another level by developing solo and duo acts, exclusive monthly pre-professional workshops in various cirque skills and preparing for performance opportunities. Local performance and competition opportunities are offered exclusively for our Elite Youth Team such as at local fairs & festivals, On the FLY STL Studios produced shows/showcases, or performing with on the fly's professional company. ​
PROGRESSIVE INTRO SKILLS CLASSES  
Kids Circus (Ages 6 - 8) 
Gain strength, confidence, & grace in this fun kid friendly class on various circus apparatus on the ground and in the air such as silks, lyra, & trapeze. . All are welcome! Games, dancing & fun guaranteed! This course serves as an introductory course to Intro to Aerial.
Intro to Aerial (8 & up) 
For new students, this class helps gain strength, confidence, & flexibility in this intro & progressive skill building class on Silks, Hoop, Trapeze, Dance, Acro, FLYing, Ground Circus Skills and more. Pre-Req: Open to all 8 and up or students that have completed Kids Circus or by Instructor Placement. This is introductory foundation to TEAM PLACEMENT. Depending on prior experience, strength/fitness level, and attendance, students often complete this course within one to two 3 month long sessions before being invited to our Level 1 Team (Fireflies).  All are welcome!

FLYING CLASSES
Kids FLYing Fun (8 & up)
Calling all stuntmen to come burn some energy and train like your favorite super hero as you swing, jump, fly, climb, spin and stunt in class!
​Flying & Technique 1 (Ages 12+)
Learn the technical aspects to performer flying taught and explored while gaining confidence to fly, flip, and spin in mid-air!​​

PROGRESSIVE INTERMEDIATE THRU ADVANCED CLASSES 
Please note: Students taking classes and not on a Team, will take skills classes only as there won't be time allotted for strength & conditioning, flexibility, ground performance, flying and multi-apparatus training.
​Silks 2, 3 & 4 
Intermediate and advanced level classes will be offered a la carte for our Level 2+ students with progress intermediate to more advanced skills such as inversions, drops, various climbs. 
Pre-Req: Students meet all the prerequisites for Placement.
Multi Apparatus 2 
This next step in our progressive skill building class on Hoop, Trapeze, Straps, Hammock, Double Hammock, Cube and more.  Pre-Req: Students have completed Multi Apparatus 1 or by Instructor Placement. 
Open Studio - Open to Current Students only Ages 9+  $10/30 Min & $20/60 Min
Hard working aerialists just wanna have fun and practice, train and play hard!  Research backs that learning new skills requires play and the freedom to try it again and again in safe, supervised environment. Sign up weekly to attend Open Studios at any of our locations.
FLYing Birthday Parties & Girls Night Out Silks Class

Intended for the adult who has tried an intro level class and/or can climb to the top of a silk without assistance. 
Flying & Technique 1

“Girls Night Out” Silks
